This is the second annual River View Run for Parkinson's Research. The 5K run/walk and 10K run is through the scenic Storm King mountain and Hudson River area. The race will take place on Route 218, from Cornwall to West Point, on Sunday, October 2, 2011 and will raise money to benefit TEAM FOX, the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

ATTENTION!! the River View Run for Parkinson's Research is still taking place Sunday! The Department of Transportation is working hard to get the road open for us on 218. If 218 remains closed, we have a scenic alternate route for both the 5K and 10K! Keep signing up for this great cause!! :)

Course Info: This is an "out and back" race from Route 218, just past Taft Place in Cornwall on Hudson to Lee Gate at West Point. Both the 5K and 10K races will have the same starting point, but the 5K will have an earlier turn around.

Race Day Registration will open at 7:30 A.M.

Race starts promptly at 9:00 A.M.

Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age group. The age groups are as follows:

Girls/Boys 18 and under

Women/Men 19 to 25

Women/Men 26-35

Women/Men 35-45

Women/Men 46-55

Women/Men 56 and over

PARKING: Parking will be available at Camp Olmsted.
